...like this. The first step. As we were meeting as a Leadership Team at United last week, it was impressed on my heart the need for encouragement. We are all hurting, struggling, frantic, distracted journeyers in this thing called life. And once in a while? We need encouragement. And that's where Step By Step comes in. On at least a weekly basis, there will be the ramblings of this crooked pastor posted here, which are meant to simply get our faces lifted up, our eyes focused on, and our hearts tuned in to the One and Only One who can truly give us hope and encouragement, so that we can "rejoice in the hope of the glory of God." (Romans 5:2). And so this grand journey of encouragement for our hearts begins this way...with a step.
